JHM Butt & Co Ltd are excited to be exhibiting at the Automechanika UK Show in Birmingham on the 6th – 8th June 2023 at the NEC Centre (Stand O130). Known as the largest automotive show in the world, Automechanika is back after a 4-year break. Offering a wide range of industry knowledge ranging from industry focused workshops to specialist garage equipment and tools.

With over 500 exhibitors, 12,000 visitors and 50 hours’ worth of demonstrations, Automechanika, is definitely one for the bucket list if you’re within the automotive industry.

Here I’ll be talking about what JHM Butt & Co Ltd will be exhibiting at the show.

Who We Are and Why We’re Going?

Established in 1971 we have been trading successfully in the automotive market & many industrial sectors for over 50 years. Dealing with some of the UK's largest companies & some of the smallest we pride ourselves in the number of customers who continue to place their business with us. Some since we were established in 1971. This year, we will be showcasing essential equipment and tools for EV & Hybrid garages. Our aim is to provide knowledge around the equipment through live demonstrations and answer any questions we know our customer base have around EV.

What are we Demonstrating at Automechanika?

9905 Coil Spring Compressor

Still one of the most scary and dangerous jobs in the workshop today is replacing a coil spring. With many dangerous manual clamp systems out there and various methods used like mechanics compressing it under their 4-post lift, trust me when we say we have seen it all! This is why we are passionate about the 9905 and have seen a massive interest at trade shows, because we are all too aware of the dangers. We will be demonstrating our top of the range Air Operated Mechanical Coil Spring Compressor. The 9905 has a high output power of 2400kg (10 bar) which is suitable for most cars, SUV’s, 4x4's and light commercials on the road today. This unit boasts quality double pistons giving double the thrust power of our standard unit (2400kg at 10bar). This means it can compress the toughest springs on the market today such as light commercials, Large Mercedes ML springs, Nissan Navara, 4 x 4's etc. The unit has an extra-long stroke of 440mm meaning it will do all the complicated springs such as Mercedes, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, etc… With only one accessory (unlike competitors), we have yet to find a spring it can’t change, we invite you to challenge us at the show and see the unit in action.

ST722/24 Automatic Tyre Changer

Do you change tyres on a daily basis? Well, Supalign have you covered with the ST722/24 Automatic Tyre Changer. With rims getting forever bigger, the ST722/24 features a turntable with locking capacity up to 24” outside clamping. A robust machine, which is designed for heavy use, created for the tyre fitter in mind. The square plate rounded at the corners facilitates the disassembly of the second bead. The strong plate is equipped with a system with opposing jaws and with two cylinders of Ø 80 mm which guarantees an optimal clamping force on all types of rims. KPX357EV 2 Post Lift

For the first time at Automechanika, JHM Butt will be exhibiting a KPX357EV 2 post lift designed for EV vehicles in mind. The electromechanical 2 Post lift is the ideal solution for whoever wants to set up a universal work bay and future proof their workshop. The innovative low-profile arms with rotating terminal offer an incredibly flexible use, making the lift suitable for lifting all types of vehicles from the standard city car to sports cars, including the most modern electric vehicles.
