The Pivotal Role Of JHM Butt
In 2024, Martyn from Retford Auto Centre was determined to find a company to build and install his new MOT Service Station from the ground up. He made a call to JHM Butt & Co Ltd, who are just around the corner to get help. National Sales Manager, Duane, has been cooperating with Martyn ever since to build his perfect MOT Station.
JHM Butt built the building, supplied and installed the garage equipment which includes a Ravaglioli Scissor Lift, Roller Brake Tester, Headlight Tests, and 2-Post Lift.
In November 2024, Retford Auto Centre successfully started taking in vehicles for MOT’s on their new Ravaglioli scissor lift.
When we spoke to Martyn, he was in high spirits now his business is flourishing. He said “they (JHM Butt) pointed me in the right direction… I couldn’t be happier” when asked about how JHM Butt have helped him throughout the process.
We also have a service contract in place with Martyn, so we will be working closely with his business to ensure it's a success.

- Workshop Layout and CAD Drawings
- Measure, planning and fitting of Class 4 MOT Bay
- Installation of a Ravaglioli 2-Post lift.
- Building the complete MOT Station.
