Following the enormous success of the "EOBD Code Breaker" book, we now offer a new publication "SERVICE RESET". The Service Reset book provides a comprehensive set of instructions for more than 270 models, plus model derivatives (covers many models through to 2010).
Resetting of service messages and warnings can now be a complex procedure on many vehicles; therefore, the information is provided in an easy to follow step-by-step layout with accompanying illustrations.
In addition, for many vehicles, the procedures identify a manual process for retrieving service related information; this information is normally not automatically displayed to the driver, but it can be retrieved before a service is due to enable technicians to identify which service is due in the future and at what mileage or date (note that the information varies across makes and models). Viewing the service information can then allow you to advise customers of future services and to make future appointments with the customer for their vehicle's service.
Because of the amount of information that applies to the service reset procedures, it is not possible to effectively detail the procedures in a short paragraph; each model is therefore covered on at least 1 page, with most models being covered on 2 pages or more.
With increasing complexity of even the most routine tasks, the "Service Reset" book represents another opportunity to access information that helps simplify and speed up the maintenance of motor vehicles.
